I'm very patriotic and love anything that is red, white, and blue! This card and today's post was inspired by a group of patriotic stampers who live 2,943 miles away from me...
Oh! And flags! I love flags
especially when they are red, white, and blue!
Now back to the story of the stampers... Last summer, these same stampers held a party in Florida, and made cards for OPERATION WRITE HOME. Nine months later they were ready to do it again! In March, I sent supplies for 100 cards. Here's a picture of Emily with a bunch of cards she assembled. I was told she made 50 of the 100 cards by herself - all for OWH.
I spent a little time surfing the OWH website. It was wonderful to see hundreds of cards pictured along with great photos of our service men and women. So many of the cards were made with Stampin' Up! supplies! Hoorah! I also read that since 2007, there have been 2,650,133 handcrafted cards deployed to our troops! Wow!
Mary, Emily, Elizabeth, Stephanie, and others,
we sincerely thank you all over again!
